Støyklovn is exactly what the name suggests. A wonky Pierrot utilising the repertoire of a children’s entertainer to create textural noise music. The squeak of balloon animals being made, chattering plastic teeth and the honking of a clown’s horn, all mangled through a series of electronic processing. He is available for birthday parties, weddings, funerals etc. What could possibly go wrong?
Luke Drozd is an artist, illustrator, and musician based in Bergen, Norway, working across print, sound, film and performance. His sound projects focus on audio collage, experimental soundscapes, harsh and soft noise music, often released on limited-edition cassette tapes and digital formats. He is a frequent collaborator and alongside his solo work he can be seen and heard performing as part of Myr/Marsh/Fen, Soft Noise Ensemble, Ghetti/Drozd and Reet Maff’l.

Selma will show a collection of sculptures consisting of steel, plastic, and images connected to the ocean. Through combining staged and documentary images, and the way of displaying them, she seeks to challenge our accustomed ways of seeing and understanding, as well as how we read and experience images. The work invites the viewer to explore and connect knowledge and ideas in new ways.
Selma Fegth is currently taking her master’s in fine art at The Academy of Fine Art in Bergen. Through her work she explores how humans make order of things, nature, and other aspects of the world in an attempt to understand our surroundings and ourselves. She works with transforming photography into three dimensional objects through incorporating them in sculptures and installations primarily made in steel.

A work in progress performance.
Together, they have a shared interest in performance, collaborative and socially-engaged art. Through humor, sonic composition and choreography, their work investigates human relations, connection and belonging and questions the social and hierarchal structures we build between each other.

SKANKY (they/them) is hatecriming Norwegian punk with digital hardcore. Producer, jester and muse Samuel Slay Dalheim draws inspiration from sweaty nights in kinky basements, the backstage area of your (semi) local squat and the queue at the one trashy club you just can’t miss out on. With crass lyrics that vulnerably depict a life outside the norm as both trans and radical and a live set that resembles more of a performance than a gig, they have inflicted lasting damage on the underground scene in Bergen, Oslo and Berlin. This is music for people who refuse to conform, fuming queers and radical baddies.
At Prøverommet, SKANKY will be testing out some material that they hope to present on their upcoming tour from 2026-27. They will perform together with their partners in slay and band Eva Hansen Slay Strøm Sjøvold (they/them) and Adam Alexander Slay Sjøvol Strøm (he/him).

Prøverommet has always been a place for unfinished ideas, first attempts and unexpected turns, celebrating works in progress. This autumn, it also celebrates a building in progress.
All Prøverommet events this season are part of BIT’s TESTIVAL, inviting you inside Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus before its official opening in March 2027. Together we’ll test new performances, new rooms and new possibilities, discovering what this house can become before it settles into itself. The Prøverommet events throughout the autumn will unfold in one space after another, slowly unpacking the potential of the building.
It’s a sneak peak. It’s an experiment. It’s Prøverommet.
Because we’re testing, changes and adaptations might be necessary at short notice. It is recommended to reserve tickets well in advance to stay informed.
We at BIT are pleased that our audience consists of diverse people; individuals with different experiences and corresponding unique needs.
Some of our visitors enjoy being surprised, shocked, and challenged, while others may wish to avoid certain content. We invite anyone who wants to know more about one of our events, regardless of what or why, to contact Jay at jay@bitteater.no or by calling +47 55 23 22 35.
