An installation of things – for a building in transition

Danish scenographer and costume designer Olga Regitze Dyrløv Høegh takes over BIT’s open space Nullpunktet as the first artist ever to transform it. Dyrløv Høegh takes this special moment to bring the space itself to the forefront. By shifting construction materials and tools and putting them into motion Nullpunktet comes alive for the first time.

In Before it hardens the building is not a backdrop, but part of the work – open, exposed, still forming. Still becoming.

Nullpunktet is a starting point. Situated at the entrance of Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus, it’s an open space that the audience encounter first – where exploration, new formats and methodologies in performance art is in focus.

Bio

Olga Regitze Dyrløv Høegh is a Danish scenographer and costume designer working across institutional contexts and the free field, within galleries, stages, and public space at multiple scales. Her practice moves between established institutions and outside fixed frameworks. Working internationally across opera, theatre, dance, and audio, she develops spatial environments that foreground materiality and the conditions of their making. She holds a Master’s degree in scenography from The Norwegian Theatre Academy and a BA in Design Culture from The Southern University of Denmark.

Central to her work is an ongoing investigation of power dynamics and the agency of things – how objects, materials, and structures act, resist, and shape both space and experience.
