BIT is thrilled to be part of a residency programme that connects the north of Europe with the south – an Italian/Norwegian exchange project that includes BIT, Bærum Kulturhus, DansiT and Davvi in Norway and in Italy the Dance Hub in Anghiari, L’arboreto – Teatro Dimora in Mondaino, Fabbrica Europa in Florence and Fondazione I Teatri in Reggio Emilia.
Through the programme BIT will host Cristina Kristal Rizzo, recognised as a leading figure in Italian choreography and her team for a one-week residency. Rizzo will dedicate her time with BIT to research a new creation titled PROXIMITY / LA PRIMA VOLTA. The work puts hospitality in the forefront and lets it function as a compositional principle: not a mere welcome, but a device allowing difference and novelty to shape the space and its interactions.
