Prøverommet at Bergen International Cultural Center
Prøverommet is BIT’s lively testing ground, where artists working in any medium present new works to a supportive audience. It has been running for 28 years and is as vital today as when it began in 1998 in Teatergarasjen.
For the first Prøverommet of BIT’s autumn season, we return to Bergen International Cultural Centre, established in 1993 as a multicultural meeting place for a wide range of organisations in the Hordaland region.
Located on Kong Oscars gate, the building is home to a rare gem: Fensal, an early 20th-century ballroom. This will be the last Prøverommet outside Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus – BIT’s new home.
More information about the participating artists and the event will be announced soon!
