A much needed moving party!

The time has come – the wait is officially over for Bergen Internasjonale Teater and Carte Blanche – Norwegian National Dance Company.

In the summer of 2026, Bergen Internasjonale Teater will be packing up their offices at Teatergaten 10, whilst Carte Blanche will be moving out of their offices, production facilities and home stage at Studio Bergen.

This marks the start of a new chapter: our new home at Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus – a milestone that must be celebrated!

That’s why we’re throwing a summer and moving party at Rommet — hoping to bring together friends, supporters, performing arts lovers, partners and curious souls for a special evening.

We’ll begin with food delivered by the amazing Goran from Den Bosniske Nomaden, speeches and exciting news about our autumn seasons. Later on, the fantastic DJs Håkon Blom and Alskua will provide the soundscape for the rest of the evening.

Welcome to our summer party!

Håkon Blom

After several years behind the decks, Håkon Blom has left his mark on dance floors across Norway, from Oslo and Trondheim to Bergen, where he has quickly become a fixture of the local club scene.

Few genres are beyond his reach, but closest to his heart are the organic rhythms of funk, soul, and disco.

Solveig Jespersen Haga

Alskua

Alskua is a Belgian sound artist, audio engineer, DJ and half marathon runner (as of April 2026) based in Bergen, Norway. Through their percussive DJ sets and ambient algorithmic compositions they try to become a bird, if only for a moment.

Vi i BIT er glade for at publikummet vårt består av ulike mennesker; folk med ulike erfaringer og tilsvarende unike behov.

Noen av våre besøkende liker å bli overrasket, sjokkerte og utfordret, mens andre kanskje ønsker å unngå å bli utsatt for bestemt innhold.
