a guttering investigates encounters around food to nurture queer community and interspecies interdependence. The title is a word play on ‘gathering’, ‘gut’ and ‘gutter’ and the work transforms the format of a dinner and its making.
a guttering consists of choreographer Ar Utke Ács who works with queer and crip approaches to dancing and expanded choreography; chef Sal Reis Trouxa who works with holistic food sourcing, preservation and education; together with artist and horticulturist Sarasvati Shrestha who works interdisciplinary with art, cultivation, ecology, public education and knowledge sharing.
