Open Call: Delegate Programme for the DRIFT Showcase at Bergen Internasjonale Teater
Are you a curator, programmer, or artistic director looking to discover new performance and dance artists from across Europe?
We invite applications from proffesionals to take part in DRIFT Showcase, taking place at Bergen Internasjonale Teater (BIT) on 13–14 November 2026. The showcase presents the work of ten artists from the DRIFT programme through short works-in-progress presentations and feedback sessions with international partners. Delegates will also have access to a special pitching session featuring leading Norwegian artists and companies.
Who’s it for?
Applications are open to artistic directors, curators, and programmers whose interests align with the artistic practices and themes explored by the DRIFT artists. Successful applicants may receive a travel grant of up to €1,000 to cover travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs, as well as complimentary showcase tickets.
The DRIFT Showcase takes place as part of BIT’s TESTIVAL, a season of artistic experimentation marking the theatre’s first months in its new home, Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus, a former public swimming pool transformed into a performing arts venue.
Join us in Bergen to encounter new artistic voices, connect with peers from across Europe, and experience the future of contemporary performance.
