His set of violin concertos known as\u00a0<i>The Four Seasons<\/i> was one of the first musical works to attempt to describe phenomena with which humans are all familiar \u2013 the changes in climate through the course of a year.\u00a0 Over three centuries, Vivaldi\u2019s\u00a0<i>Four Seasons<\/i>\u00a0has inspired countless artists, musicians and listeners. Since then her choreography has been grounded in a rigorous and prolific exploration of the relationship between dance and music. With Rosas she has created\u00a0 a wide-ranging body of work engaging the musical structures and scores of several periods, from early music to contemporary and popular idioms. Her choreographic practice also draws its formal principles from geometry, numerical patterns, the natural world, and social structures to offer a unique perspective on the body\u2019s articulation in space and time.<\/p>\n<p>The artistic work of choreographer and dancer <strong>Radouan\u00a0Mriziga<\/strong> is noteworthy for its use of dance and choreography as a means to share knowledge with an audience, going beyond the purely aesthetic experience of a performance. What is paramount is the sharing of different forms of knowledge, be it knowledge about space, architecture, the body and its connection to mind and intellect. Or, more recently, knowledge about forgotten and repressed narratives.
