The ghost lamp is an electric light, a light bulb on a high stand, that stays lit when the theatre is closed and is plunged into darkness. Its purpose is safety, but it is also said to ward away bad spirits or to guide the ghosts that are believed to haunt the theatre.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">For this work Edvardsen is working with her long-time collaborator, light designer Bruno Pocheron. She presents her work internationally and continues to develop projects with other artists, both as a collaborator and performer. Making books and publishing is an important part of her practice.
