It is an event where the only rule is to take off your shoes \u2013 a simple, harmless gesture, enough to reset your brain, to start looking outward, to open up. <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MERENDE <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">moves between performance, installation, clubbing, care, and the exchange of practices and knowledge, care and a different way of knowing bodies. <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MERENDE<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> is also the grand finale and closing party of the festival!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">It all started in Rome in 2018. Industria Indipendente \u2013 a duo formed by Erika Z. Galli and Martina Ruggeri, active in the fields of performance, writing, and visual art \u2013 started experimenting with the concept of clubbing, which turned out to be a reference point for the Italian queer community and beyond, touring successfully. Each edition is built in dialogue with local contributors who offer services to <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">MERENDE\u2019s <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">audience.
