They are inspired by the<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">Iranian philosopher Reza <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">Negarestani<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">, who puts<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">oil into a cultural and imaginary landscape, and<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">by the Swedish author Aase Berg\u2019s eco-gothic<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">poetry, where revenge and landscape form a<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">dark alliance. How can we interpret oil as a<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">cultural landscape? If oil is a vast, collective<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">material, does this mean we can simply <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">access<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">it through a different, similarly collective<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">material? This would make folk dance the<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189132547 BCX0\">perfect material. Hindi holds a degree in philosophy. His recent works, alongside <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sun Eaters,<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> include <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Laundry of Legends <\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2013 a series of dance performances based on death poems written by Etel Adnan, <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Stranger Within<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> (with Mia Habib) \u2013 a research\/performance on haunting and hospitality, and the lecture series <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Betraying Utopia\/Slime Utopia<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">He has recently collaborated with Lara Kramer, Ligia Lewis, Keith Hennessy, Clara Furey, Simon Portigal, Justin de Luna, Harald Beharie, Charlott Utzig, Paolo de Venecia Gile, Ofelia Jarl Ortega and Sina Seifee. The Association\u2019s purpose is to offer studios for professional artists and others in the field of contemporary arts. BAG is an active creative environment where conversations, public events, collaborative projects and individual work are in focus. BAG has a project room, common area with kitchen, storage, technical equipment and a wood workshop on the premises.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through extensive effort by members and by the support from the Municipality of Bergen, the Norwegian Arts Council and the private sector, BAG is today a well-structured, serious and suitable workplace. We have at present 14 studios at 13-26 m2.
