Behind the masks are Felipe Salmon and Rafael Pereira, two producers, dj\u2019s and graphic designers from Lima, Per\u00fa. Their work explores the rhythms from Peru and other parts of the world, recreating them electronically by mixing new and old, analog and digital, to create a unique sound and visuals. Their musical explorations go from psychedelic cumbia to dub, from salsa to footwork, from tribal to techno. Together with best friend and producer Maximilian Boss, Omar founded the interdisciplinary project <em>EASTER<\/em> in 2010\u2014a genre-defying band with five released albums that has toured much of the world and created the online soap opera <em data-start=\"395\" data-end=\"432\">Sadness is an Evil Gas Inside of Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"740\">Stix Omar works with language and storytelling, with collaborations in music, performance, and film as an important part of their artistic practice. Currently, Stix is developing a 24-episode advent calendar, which will form the foundation for their solo exhibition at <em>BLOKK<\/em> in Bergen this autumn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"968\"><em>Romantic Comedy<\/em> is an experimental performance that lives between poetry, comedy, prayer, and song.
