BIT is thrilled to be part of a residency programme that connects the north of Europe with the south \u2013 an Italian\/Norwegian exchange project that includes BIT, B\u00e6rum Kulturhus, DansiT and Davvi in Norway and in Italy the Dance Hub in Anghiari, L\u2019arboreto \u2013 Teatro Dimora in Mondaino, Fabbrica Europa in Florence and Fondazione I Teatri in Reggio Emilia.<\/p>\n

Through the programme BIT will host Cristina Kristal Rizzo, recognised as a leading figure in Italian choreography and her team for a one-week residency. Rizzo will dedicate her time with BIT to research a new creation titled PROXIMITY \/ LA PRIMA VOLTA.<\/em> The work puts hospitality in the forefront and lets it function as a compositional principle: not a mere welcome, but a device allowing difference and novelty to shape the space and its interactions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

Bio<\/h2>\n

Christina Kristal Rizzo<\/strong> is a choreographer and researcher working between dance and performance, active in the international live arts scene since the early 90s as a founding member of the historic Kinkaleri collective. Since 2008, she has pursued an independent choreographic path, directing her research toward theoretical reflection with strong dynamic impact, aiming to regenerate creative processes and engage with the present. She is recognised as a leading figure in Italian choreography and supported by diverse contexts and institutions. Her practice treats choreography as an open field shaped by embodied knowledge, creating works that evolve through shared presence and collective transformation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n
