Ingri Fiksdal and Louis Schou-Hansen are looking for three\u202fvolunteers to join as extras in their new performance<\/span><\/span>\u00a0The Court<\/em><\/a>.\u202fThe performance is part of Bergen<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Internasjonale<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Teater\u2019s\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>programme<\/span>\u202fand\u202fwill take place inside the brand new\u202f<\/span>Sentralbadet<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Scenekunsthus<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>on Saturday\u202f21, Sunday 22 and\u202fMonday\u202f23 November 2026<\/span>\u00a0and will be\u00a0<\/span>part of<\/span> BITs TESTIVAL<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Participating in\u202f<\/span><\/span>The Court<\/span><\/span><\/em>\u202fis a unique opportunity to gain insight into an artistic practice situated at the intersection of choreography, historical research, and speculative fiction. As part of the cast, you will work closely with and perform alongside an international ensemble, becoming an integral part of a piece that, in a playful manner,\u202f<\/span>seeks<\/span>\u202fto disrupt and reimagine Western dance history as a sensory, embodied experience.\u00a0<\/span>You\u00a0<\/span>will be part of a fictional baroque court in which\u00a0<\/span>you<\/span>\u00a0hang out, perform everyday activities such as playing cards, gossiping, walk around, improvising little dances (with clear instructions), pretending to take a nap, eating, simulating animals, speaking to the audience, etc. All of it will be easy to learn and\u00a0<\/span>you<\/span>\u00a0will only perform materials\u00a0<\/span>you<\/span>\u00a0feel\u00a0<\/span>at ease<\/span>\u00a0with.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>T<\/span>hroughout the process, the ensemble will offer professional guidance and make sure that you feel ready and comfortable on stage.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
