Since the early 2000s, BIT has been an active partner in European collaborative networks, and as part of this has been able to offer artists and companies in contemporary performing arts access to a wide range of international and local residency opportunities. While the scope of each project varies depending on the nature of the different networks, we generally aim to help artists connect with relevant residencies whenever possible.<\/p>\n

We are excited to finally be able to offer dedicated residency facilities when we move into Sentralbadet in 2026\/early 2027. More information on this will come at a later stage. In the meantime, we are grateful for our great collaborations with partners in Bergen and Vestland, including AiR Bergen at USF Verftet, Rimi\/Imir Scenekunst in Stavanger, and the Teaterfestivalen i Fjaler. We look forward to offering more opportunities for both local and international artists in the time to come.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

Mutual Exchange \u2013 New Perspectives and Networks

The exchange programme, which includes both Norwegian and Italian partners, facilitates a mutual exchange that strengthens the ties between the performing arts communities of the two countries. It provides artists with access to new creative impulses and professional networks. The project opens new doors for artistic partnership and establishes a solid foundation for further international collaboration within the field of dance.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
