BIT Voices is a group of 16 people living in and around Bergen who will visit selected performances and voice their honest opinions with us. The group was selected through an open call and it consists of people with different backgrounds and perspectives.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Why BIT Voices?<\/h3>\n

BIT Voices is part of Bergen\u00a0Internasjonale\u00a0Teater\u2019s ongoing work to\u00a0strengthen the dialogue between the theatre and the people who live in and around the city. By bringing together people with\u00a0different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives,\u00a0we hope to learn more about how BIT\u2019s programme is experienced.\u00a0The conversations in the group will help shape the development of BIT\u2019s artistic programme and audience work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

We were blown away by the response after receiving 120 applications for our new audience project, BIT Voices! <\/p>\n <\/div>\n

What will the group do?<\/h3>\n

As part of the group, BIT Voices participants will:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Attend 4\u20135 selected performances in Bergen between May 2026 until summer 2027.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Join short feedback sessions<\/strong> after each performance. These informal and relaxed conversations focus on immediate reactions and impressions.<\/li>\n
  • Take part in group meetings<\/strong>. In these sessions we will discuss the performances, the programme and the theatre in more depth together with a moderator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The meetings will mainly be held in English.<\/p>\n

    • Free tickets<\/strong> to selected BIT performances<\/li>\n
    • A honorarium of NOK 5,000<\/strong> for participating in the project<\/li>\n
    • The chance to be among the first to experience performances at Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus<\/strong> during our testing period in autumn 26.<\/li>\n
    • An opportunity to influence the future development of BIT\u2019s programme<\/li>\n
    • A chance to meet new people, exchange ideas, and experience theatre in a new way<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n
