Electronic art bonanza at BEK
For the BIT spring season Prøverommet will appear every month at different venues. In April, Prøverommet will join forces with BEK – Bergen Centre for Electronic Arts, one of the city’s most exploratory institutions, which helps artists develop projects through practical and artistic mentoring, in addition to a strong year-round programme. Together with BEK, Prøverommet will present artists who have participated in BEK’s residency programme, mixed with contributions received through an open call focusing on electronic art and performance.

The rehearsal room is BIT’s experimental arena – a playground for all creative people in the city of Bergen. This special and beloved concept has existed since 1998 and is a low-threshold environment for trying out new artistic material in front of an audience. Dance, theatre, poetry, visual art, music; all formats are welcome!
