The last BIT performance in Studio Bergen before demolition

broken (iteration III)is a swan song, a funeral song, a last wave goodbye, a farewell. The creation of this work coincided with Findlay//Sandsmark losing their venue RIMI/IMIR SceneKunst in Stavanger in 2024. As an artwork, it happened to serve as a delicatefarewell piece for stages in general and will be the last piece BIT presents at Studio Bergen, before the building is demolished.

“And suddenly, during the very last minutes of the performance, and without fully understanding how it happens, the audience has become part of something big, painful and beautiful”Anne Therese Tveita, Stavanger Aftenblad

Bio

Findlay//Sandsmark is a performance company based between Stavanger and Flørli in Lysefjord, making work in a process driven and collective approach across disciplinary boundaries to create live art that resonates in a circulatory system comprised of equally valued mediums focused through a choreographic prism and movementbased foundation.
