Building access
Lysverket is located in Rasmus Meyers allé along Lille Lungegårdsvann. Lysverket does not have step-free access. There is a lift for people in wheelchairs available.
The minimum dimensions of all door openings one needs to pass through to arrive at the event space is 116 centimeter wide.
Toilets
Lysverkets toilets are open to all genders. Lysverket also has accessible toilet facilities. The door-opening of this accessible toilet is 116 centimeter wide.
Public transport
The closest bus stops are ‘Festplassen’, ‘Olav Kyrres gate’, ‘Bergen busstasjon’ and ‘Lars Hilles gate’, all of which are under 500 meters away.
Lysverket is also closely located to the train station (approximately 400 meter), and the light rail (Bybanen) stops ‘Byparken’ (approximately 500 meter) og ‘Nonneseter’ (approximately 400 meter).
Parking / drop off bay
There is designated parking accessible to people with disabilities right outside the Rasmus Meyers collection. These do not need to be reserved in advance. There is a drop-off point / short-term parking bay directly outside the front of the building.
Assistive Listening Systems / Audio Induction Loop
There are no Assistive Listening Systems in use.
Service dogs
Service dogs are welcome at Lysverket.
Quiet zone
If desired, it is possible to find a quiet zone with reduced sensory stimulation. Staff will be able to assist you.
