Although the venue’s official opening is in March 2027, we invite curious audiences to join us for our TESTIVAL as we explore and try out our new home, Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus. Hence, this page is under development. Please note that changes and adjustments may occur at short notice.

Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus is located close to several public transport stops in central Bergen. The nearest recommended stops are ‘Olav Kyrres gate’ and ‘Festplassen’, as well as the Bybanen stop ‘Byparken’, all approximately 600 metres from the venue.
There is bicycle parking on the side of the building, along Håkonsgaten.
Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus does not have visitor parking. Paid parking is available nearby at KlosterGarasjen. More information about parking at KlosterGarasjen can be found here.
There are several designated accessible parking spaces in the streets immediately surrounding Sentralbadet, including in Teatergaten and Håkonsgaten. You can find their locations in the parking map of Bergen Municipality.
The Parkering i Bergen app provides information and photographs of individual parking spaces, including information about their size, kerbs and gradient.
Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus has been designed with universal accessibility in mind.
The main entrance is located slightly below street level and can be reached step-free via a gently sloping pavement. The entrance has wide doors with automatic door openers.
The foyers, stages and studios can all be reached without using stairs. The elevator is 130 cm wide and 280 cm deep.
All stairs are equipped with handrails on both sides.
The first- and second-floor foyers have plenty of seating.
The cloakroom and toilets are located in the basement (-1), which can only be reached by stairs. An alternative cloakroom and a universally designed toilet are available on the left-hand side of the foyer. There is also a designated area for wheelchair parking in this area. When space permits, prams can also be parked here.
There is signage throughout the building, including tactile signage and Braille. Tactile paving is used to support wayfinding through the building.

There are all-gender toilets and universally designed toilets on all floors.
The universally designed toilets have grab rails, long sinks and additional door handles on the inside of the doors.
Service dogs are welcome at Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus.
There are currently no assistive listening systems in use. An assistive listening system is planned for the future.
Acoustic panels have been installed throughout the building to improve the acoustic environment.
If desired, it is possible to find a quiet zone with reduced sensory stimulation. Staff will be able to assist you.
