Landåshallen

Here is an overview of accessibility and facilities at Landåshallen.

Building Access

Landåshallen has one entrance. The entrance has three steps, as well as a permanent ramp providing step-free access. There is a threshold of approximately 2 cm.

Access to the swimming pool area is possible through doorways that are either 75 cm or 90 cm wide, depending on which entrance to the pool area is used. The minimum width of the doorways one needs to pass through to access the pool area is then 75 cm or 90 cm.

Landåshallen can accommodate people who use wheelchairs. There are no automatic door openers. All facilities are located on the same floor, so there is no need for an elevator.

Toilets

The toilets at Landåshallen are open to all genders Landåshallen has a universally designed toilet that can be used upon request. This toilet has grab rails and a long sink.

Public Transport

The nearest bus stop is ‘Hagerups vei’, approximately 300 metres away. However, the bus stop is located downhill from Landåshallen, meaning there is an uphill section on the way to the venue.

Parking / Drop-off

There are designated accessible parking spaces at Landåshallen. These do not need to be reserved in advance.

There is also regular street parking in the surrounding area. It is possible to be dropped off in front of the building.

Assistive Listening Systems / Audio Induction Loop

There are no assistive listening systems in use.

Service Dogs

Service dogs are welcome at Landåshallen.

Quiet Zone

If desired, it is possible to find a quiet room with reduced sensory stimulation. Staff will be able to assist you.
