Here is an overview concerning accessibility and facilities at Grieghallen
Building Access
Grieghallen has step-free access from street level. An elevator is available inside the building. The minimum width of all doorways and entrances (including elevator doors) is 100 cm.
In Griegsalen, there are 10 spaces on Row 6 (floor level) by Entrance A reserved for people who use wheelchairs. A universally designed toilet is also located near Entrance A. Access to the space is possible by both stairs and elevator in each foyer.
If you need assistance, please contact one of the attendants in the foyer.
Toilets
Grieghallen offers accessible toilet facilities.
Grieghallen has toilets divided by gender. There are also accessible toilet facilities available for anyone to use.
Public Transport
Located in the city centre, Grieghallen is well served by public transport. Festplassen, Byparken, Lars Hilles gate, and Bergen Bus Station are all within 500 metres of the venue.
Parking and Drop-off
Designated accessible parking spaces are available in GriegGarasjen next to Grieghallen. These do not need to be reserved in advance.
Paid parking is also available under Edvard Griegs plass in GriegGarasjen, with entry from Lars Hilles gate and exit via Strømgaten. You can find more information about payment at GriegGarasjen here.
Assistive Listening Systems / Audio Induction Loop
For hearing aids with a telecoil:

Ask one of the attendants to borrow a set of assistive listening equipment (two connected units).

Activate the telecoil setting on your hearing aids.

Place both units around your neck, connect them, turn on the black unit, and adjust to the desired volume.
For people who are hard of hearing and do not have a telecoil setting:

Ask one of the attendants to borrow assistive listening equipment with built-in headphones.

Put on the unit, turn it on, and adjust to the desired volume.
Service Dogs
Service dogs are welcome at Grieghallen.
Quiet zone
If desired, it is possible to find a quiet zone with reduced sensory stimulation. Staff will be able to assist you.
